Listen to ocean sounds, nature sounds, calming music
Create a relaxing environment that is clean, organized and makes you feel peaceful
Fact Checking, Statistics, probability (how realistic is it that your fear will actualize?)
Distraction such as drawing, music, games, puzzles, exercise, journaling, reading, listening to a podcast, etc.
Breathing exercises to lower breathing and heart rate:
4 square breathing, breathe in for four seconds, hold for four seconds, exhale for four seconds, hold for four seconds.
Count your breath and try to increase the number when you breathe in and out
